We met on a Sunday morning in June, in a coffee shop near a park. 6 hours later, after a stroll through the park straight through to the other side of Boston, we both knew there was something special between us. Neither of us had been looking for "the one" at the time, but you don't plan these things!
2 years later, we went for a boat ride in Miami on a Monday afternoon in May. We packed a picnic, and found ourselves on a lonely island. Neither of us was planning to get engaged that day, but the best laid plans sometimes aren't as special as the spontaneous moments that you know are just right. Planning to propose in Portugal the following month, Steven hadn't yet bought the ring, so he made a temporary one from a palm frond and popped the question!
This summer, on a Friday afternoon in July, we will be getting married in a chapel on a hill, overlooking a storied Newport mansion beyond the bay, a mansion where as a girl, Sarah always dreamed she'd celebrate her marriage some day. And exactly there, in Rosecliff, is where we'd like to celebrate our wedding reception with you!
We want to celebrate with you our love, our partnership, our dreams that we realize every day with all of you whom we love so much, and our future together on that day.
